About artists' books.

What defines an artist’s book? Why create one, and how do you bring one to life?

Join us on Tuesday, September 15 for Archives Party #25 in Special Collections to learn directly from Jorge Otero Pailos the ins and outs of producing his Treaties on De-Fences. If you’re curious: it focuses on the US Embassy in Oslo by Eero Saarinen (built 1959, now decommissioned) and how it offered a space for the reframing of a preservation intervention. Other artist’s books from our collections will be on exhibit as well. Bring your curiosity, interest, and questions!

This event is co-hosted by Special Collections from the Frances Loeb Library and Jorge Otero Pailos.

Please join us this Tuesday, September 15 at 6:00 pm in Special Collections! Registration opens Monday, September 14 at 10 am.
