Spnsored by the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging
We are excited to invite you to a thought-provoking workshop titled "Pluralism in Action: Case Studies in Religious Diversity and Interfaith Relations," taking place at the Frances Loeb Libraryon Friday, October 25th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. In this workshop session, we will review two cases from the Harvard University Pluralism Project: 1) Center of Dispute and 2) Showing Up for Shabbat.
Pluralism goes beyond mere tolerance of differences; it involves the active and intentional engagement with diverse perspectives through dialogue and relationship-building. This session aims to explore the challenges and dynamics of religious diversity and interfaith relations. Together, we will delve into case studies to examine how pluralism functions in practice, specifically focusing on themes surrounding Antisemitism, Anti-Muslim, and Anti-Arab bias.
This is an invaluable opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and expand your understanding of how various faith traditions interact within a diverse society. Whether you're already familiar with these topics or looking to learn more, this session promises to offer new insights and foster a deeper appreciation for the complexity and richness of interfaith relations.
Please mark your calendars and join us for this important conversation. Registration is required to secure your spot. We look forward to seeing you there and engaging with you in this vital dialogue.
In purposeful action,
