Faculty Colloquium: New design for ancient monuments: Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths, UK In-Person

Geoff is an Architect and Partner with Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, a practice with an international reputation for sustainability, design and heritage-led regeneration, based in Bath and London UK. He leads the practice’s creative re-use team and is an accredited conservation architect. His recent projects include the oldest iron-framed buildings in the world at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings for Historic England, and the major renovation of Bath Abbey, both of which were RIBA National Award winners in 2024. Previous schemes include projects for Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace, The Roman Baths in Bath, and the Tourist Burma building in Yangon, Myanmar. Geoff is a member of Historic England’s Historic Places Panel, and Chairman of the Fabric Advisory Committee for Exeter Cathedral. He is a Winston Churchill Fellow, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a Lethaby Scholar of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. Geoff is a Visiting Professor at the University of the West of England, and a regular guest lecturer on conservation and design at several universities in the UK.
