Please join us with hosts Pin Sangkaeo and Benson Joseph, MDes Mediums students, a.k.a. (snobs._) on Thursday, April 25, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm for our Archives Party 06: Never a Monument, where we will examine monuments, memorials, and memories.

The event features original drawings from the Kenzō Tange Archive by Isamu Noguchi for his unbuilt Hiroshima Memorial to the Dead, and for the Hiroshima Peace Center and Memorial Park by Kenzō Tange (among other projects and drawings for memorials from our archival collections), plus some Rare Books including a limited edition of Peter Eisenman’s Berlin Holocaust Memorial, along with a presentation of the design for a reinterpreted and reimagined Noguchi’s Cenotaph by (snobs._) in collaboration with Audrey An, artist-in-residence at the Harvard Ceramics Program.

Archives Party 06: Never a Monument will be our last for this academic year. As usual, we are limited to 15 attendees. Registration is required and will go live at 10 am on Monday, April 22. We hope you can join us!
